Very impressed with this book. It has so much going on, we’ve been reading it at bedtime for weeks, several pages at a time, and we haven’t even finished it yet! It’s a large book with many pages, each talking very sweetly about the various aspects of the day-t0-day life of children: taking a bath, being in a train station, keeping things as treasures, praying, having feelings and interactions, sharing living arrangements etc. It is very inclusive – you’ll find, specifically, all races, ethnicities and religious groups, different languages, you’ll see children on wheelchairs etc. Each page has a bit of writing and many pictures, so that you can keep talking about it – depending on the age of your child – in different ways. You could point out dogs and birds, or you could talk about the feeling of climbing a tree with a friend. My son keeps asking for this book.
